This size is for extended trips from 5 days to over a week. The double drawcord shroud can be extended for added volume when needed. A zipper on each side provides access to the large main compartment, and the Speedzip access to the sleeping bag compartment opens wide to accept the largest winter bags or the complete Modular Sleep System. 6 rows of Molle webbing on one side of the pack provide lots of room for adding additional Molle pouches. The other side features a sewn on low profile full zippered large sustainment pouch providing additional room for storing gear maximum volume with minimum bloat. Two compression straps on each side of the pack keep the load from shifting and can secure additional items to the outside of the pack. The bottom sides of the pack have water bottle/ canteen pockets. The back of the pack features dual large low profile full zippered sustainment pouches for additional gear storing and organazation maximum volume with minimum bloat. Daisy chain webbing on back for securing additional items. The bottom of pack features two drain holes. The two pocket lid is removable and converts to a 850 cubic inch daypack complete with lightweight shoulder straps and is hydration system compadible. Although this pack extends above the frame, a unique aluminum-framed upper bag provides complete head and helmet clearance in any position. The NICE frame and stealth pack design makes this one of the best packs available. It can cary a heavy load with the greatest of ease and comfort. Creation of the NICE pack frame has pushed beyond composite frames as used in the civilian world. This new level of load support lends itself to a more practical breakdown of the load than civilian inspired packs.
